Sunday, March 26, Private Home - Jewish Community Relations Council of Greater Boston (JCRCBoston) helped make an agile 93 year old's home in Jamaica Plain healthier and safer. Improvements indoors included insulation of doors and windows, repair of walls and windows, indoor painting, and more. The occupant is an avid gardener and fortunately the weather allowed young volunteers from TELEM and adults to clear debris and brush from outdoors, add railing and improve ramps for access around the yard, and create a new compost pile for him. Marc Seigle, Vahid Majidian, and Dugan Reagan were the Project Supervisors.

Friday, October 21, Private Home - Massachusetts Mortgage Bankers Foundation (MMBF) members help with repairs and renovations at a triple decker in Dorchester. Scraping/painting, updating electrical fixtures, refurbishing rooms, replacing some windows and doors, updating safety bars throughout the house, raising porch handrails for safety, landscaping, and more will happen on the day of service. RTB Board member Nick Starusky and key volunteer Marc Seigle are the Project Supervisors. Vahid Majidian also contributes critical support.
Friday, September 30, Private Home - Vertex employees help with repairs and renovations at a multi-generational home in Dorchester. Scraping/painting, and staining of three outside decks, repointing of outside foundation, addition of critical health and safety measures, landscaping, and more on the day of service. Volunteer Marc Seigle is the Project Supervisor with Vahid Majidian also contributing critical support.
Saturday, September 10 and Thursday, September 22, Camp Spaulding, Concord, NH - YMCA employees and teen leaders spend a day to update and renovated a tired looking village in their camp. Their efforts supported by DiTech, includes painting three cabins and decks, building three raised beds to grow perennials and vegetables, replacement of light fixtures, and the painting of a mural on a large fence by artist, Jason Talbot. On September 22, Ditech sponsored NASCAR driver, Kevin Harvick, attend a ribbon cutting to celebrate the renovation. Joe Melchionda is the Project Supervisor.
Wednesday, May 11th, Dorchester Youth Collaborative - Honeywell employees will work at DYC, an agency that has served teens at risk in the Dorchester neighborhood since 1981. Replacing flooring, sound proofing a sound studio, repairing front stairs, and painting are some of the tasks they will accomplish on their day of service. Friday, May 6th, Greater Boston Compassionate Center - Imagitas employees will help with repairs and renovations at a community center in Mattapan that houses a food bank distribution center, warehouse, and chapels/meeting rooms, offices. Updating and electrical system, painting, refurbishing rooms, and floors will all be part of the day of service. RTB Volunteer Marc Seigle is the Project Supervisor
