Anyone can volunteer to help. You will get assignments and training that fit with your experience and capabilities. From skilled trades people - carpenters, plumbers, electricians, roofers, and others – to the “weekend warriors” who love to work with their hands to energetic novices - all are welcome to join us and get the immense satisfaction of pitching in to preserve and protect our communities.

Programs for Volunteers

People of all backgrounds and skill levels can offer their time and services through these Rebuilding Together Boston programs:

National Rebuilding Day - On the last Saturday in April, corporate teams and other skilled and unskilled volunteers donate their time, talent, and resources for a "hands-on" day of home or non-profit-facility repairs and renovations.

Learn more about National Rebuilding Day 2014.

Special Service Days - Offers corporations, service organizations, affinity groups, faith-based organizations and other groups the opportunity to “adopt” a home or non-profit and give back to the community through a day of service.

Year-Round Program – Utilizes only skilled labor and offers homeowners and non-profit organizations the opportunity to receive more complex repair and renovation services on a year-round basis.

“It is part of our way to give back to the community…doing for those that either don't have resources or the time to do for themselves.”

-- Corporate Volunteer

“I had a great experience (on National Rebuilding Day). Looking forward to the future.”
